Kids in Motion +Yoga

Dynasty Sports Yoga class is a way to enhance physical flexibility and mental flexibility. During class the children will be challenged through many different yoga exercises like yoga stories shared from books, or yoga cards and many movement-based yoga games. Yoga promotes physical strength; children learn to use all their muscles in new ways. Yoga refines balance and coordination which directly correlates to class room activities, being able to sit and write for periods of time is just one example. Yoga develops focus and concentration; practicing poses encourages children to clear their mind and focus on the effort of each pose. It boosts self-esteem and confidence, Yoga teaches them to persevere, be patient, and work toward their goals. Yoga is a great classroom activity! During yoga we work on breathing techniques for calming, also mindfulness of physical space and we play many fun games so the children learn all these benefits in a fun way that will stay with them as they grow!
Kids in Motion
specializes in ages 2 and older combining Friends, Fun, Sports and Movement! Dynasty Sports will offer weekly 30-minute classes to help create great fitness habits with our kids and involve them in fun age-appropriate movement at the earliest level! We have partnered with some of the best fitness instructors and childcare specialists to create a unique program to get our kids active! The 8-week season features classes on track and field, Tabata training (interval training), yoga and even just keeping kids in motion through fun and unique backyard games. We put an emphasis on coordination, agility, and basic fitness concepts that will hopefully pave the way for a healthy and active lifestyle all while having tons of fun doing it!
